There is another way where you can alter the money or credit by tinkering with your game save file. All you need to do is go to this directory:

There will be a file named profile0.cms21 that can be edited with the help of a notepad. Scroll down to the last part and search for “PlayerMoney: ” and set the value to increase the money as much as you want, this method works flawlessly. It is not recommended but desperate actions are needed to be taken some time.
