Cyberpunk 2077 The Hunt, Enter Lab, Locate Cabinet & Full Walkthrough

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most awaited action role-playing game developed by CD Projekt RED. The Hunt side mission is the questline of River Ward a police officer with whom your character can initiate romance. This mission is quite a lengthy one and is subdivided into multiple small quests. You can access this mission after completing the “I fought the Law” quest.

In the Hunt mission, River ward nephew Randy has been abducted by a killer and he wants your help to find him.

Cyberpunk 2077 How To Enter Lab

The quests start with you finding the braindance of the killer’s head to find the location of where he might have kept Randy. To get the braindance, you need to enter the police lab.

To enter the police lab there is two way. The first one is that you need at least 12 technical levels to open the side door. The second way is to use body level 6 to open the side garage door.

After opening the garage door, head straight then on the left side you will find stairs. Climb up the stairs and you can open one of the windows to enter the lab.

Once you are inside the lab, you need to use Kiroshi the eye scanner to locate a cabinet containing the killer braindance files. While searching River ward will say that one of the doors is locked and he can’t get in. Go to the opposite side of that room and you will find another door to enter the locked room.

As soon as you enter through that door, head right and you will find another door that you need to open. Inside the room will be the cabinet containing the files. After scanning the files, Dr. Packard will find you and ask you to leave. Somehow you both will convince her to help you find Randy but she needs some clue to get inside the killer brain.

Cyberpunk 2077 Find Clues To Help Randy

After leaving the lab, you will head over to Randy’s house to find some clues. There you have to interact with Joss, Randy’s mom who is worried about Randy. After that, you have to visit Randy’s room to find some clues.

The clues will be located inside Randy’s bedroom, below his bed. There will be a hi-tech laptop that River is sure Randy can’t afford. The killer has been taking advantage of Randy’s loneliness and later abducts him. You need to thoroughly go through the laptop to find clues about the Killer abduction location.

There you have to visit the Net tab and you will find a file is missing. But in the files tab, that file is located and now you have the video to get inside the killer head. Then River ward will ask you to find the IP address, but you need at least 12 Intelligence to find the Ip address.

Cyberpunk 2077 Use Braindance To Find Randy Location

Using the braindance sent by Dr. Packard you need to locate people abducted by the killer. After completely investing in the farm, River Ward has now confirmed it has a pertrochem design. He finally narrows down to one farm called the Edgewood Farm. All the bodies are now on the farm that you need to visit River ward and rescue them. The farm is heavily guarded by sentry turrets and mines that you need to dodge.

Cyberpunk 2077 Enter The Barn

After reaching the farm you will find four sentry turret that you can either turn off or destroy by initiating overload. Make sure you have enough ram to destroy at least two of these turrets. The rest of the turrets can be dodge by quickly running and jumping towards the left side of the farm.

Once you reach there you will find a ladder that takes you to the top of the farm. You can enter the farm from the roof as shown in the image above. After inspecting the farm, you will find all the bodies. After turning off the machinery, help River ward to save everyone. Randy will be found alive which is good news for River ward.

In the end, Ward wants to get revenge from Harris and you get two options to choose from. You can either choose “Don’t do it” or “We both Will”. This quest is one of the questline of River Ward and upon completing all the questline you get a chance to initiate a romantic relationship with him.
