Genshin Impact is an open-world action role-playing game developed by miHoYo. The latest update “The Chalk Prince and the Dragon” update v1.2 came out with a lot of content for players to try on.  Players will get a new area called “Dragonspine” new character and dungeons. The game also now features an ancient tree called frostbearing tree that was slumbered forever under the ice. You need to level up the tree and gain a lot of rewards.

Genshin Impact How To Unlock Frostbearing Tree?

Frostbearing tree will only appear on your map after completing a certain quest called Investigate the Strange Ice. After completing this quest, you will be able to now collect and offer a new item called crimson agate to the tree.

The max level of the tree can reach 12 but after even collecting all the agate crimson as shown in the image below, your tree-level will only reach level 8. Once the tree reaches level 8, some new mission will be available that upon clearing will grant you crimson agate. By completing these missions you have to level up the frostbearing tree to max level to get maximum rewards.

There is a total of 76 crimson agate that you need to collect in total. After collecting all the agate your tree-level will reach 8. But to get the extra rewards and the new glider you have to complete crimson wish missions to make tree level 12.
