Genshin Impact Why Slow Download Speed, Its Fix & How to Download
Genshin Impact is an open-world action role-playing game developed by miHoYo. This game is available on various platforms which can be downloaded and played easily. But for some reason, the pc players are facing the issue of slow download.
The speed doesn’t exceed more than 1 MB/s and sometimes goes up to 2.5 MBPS. The download size is 11.97Gb and you can download it free from the official website.
Genshin Impact Slow Download Fix
To fix the issue of slow download speed, pc players have been using the same old trick for generation and mostly it works, that is to restart the launcher.
For some players, the slow download speed got fixed just by pausing and unpausing from the launcher. Even if the slow download is fixed, you might not get the full speed of your bandwidth. So suppose you have a connection of 100 Mbps, you should get 12 MBPS but instead, you will get only 7-8 MBPS.
For me pausing, unpausing, and even restarting the client multiple times didn’t work and the speed was 1 MB/s. Once the download reached (0.10/11.97GB), I paused and unpaused the download and it worked. So even if the above fix isn’t working for you, then you should let it download a few files and then try again.
Although my connection speed is 500 Mbps, I didn’t get the full download speed which should be 500Mbps/8= 70 MBPS. Instead, I got around 30-35 MBPS which went down to 20 MBPS which is roughly 40-50% speed of my connection. Nevertheless, it is still better than 1MBPS, and you can play the game faster.
