Streets Of Rage 4 Retro Stages Location & How To Access Them
Streets Of Rage is one of the classic fighting games of the ’90s. Streets of Rage 4 have just been released on Ps4, Xbox, Switch, and PC where players can play 4 different characters.
The game has some unique fighting mechanics with advanced graphics while also giving some old players the retro feels of the game. There are four retro levels in this game that are hidden and you need to perform a small trick to access it.
Street of Rage 4 Retro Levels Location
1st Level
The first secret retro stage can be found on stage 2 – Police Precinct. Before reaching a security checkpoint and fighting the enemies that are inside the cell, a police officer will attack you with a taser.
Make sure you don’t use or waste the taser fighting the enemies. Once you have defeated them, take the taser inside the room that has an arcade game box. Use the taser on the arcade box and you will reach the first retro stage.
In this stage, you have to fight a boss from Street Of Rage 2 called “Jack”. After defeating him, destroy the street sign in front of door to collect your star.
2nd Level
The second retro stage can be found in stage 4 – Old Pier. Before jumping down the pier, you will find an arcade box behind the glass. Just to the right side of the glass, you will find a door to access the arcade room.
Just like how you accessed the previous retro stage, you need to take the taser to the arcade room and use it on the box.
In this retro stage, you will fight the stage 3 boss of Streets Of Rage 2 called “Zamza”. After defeating him, a crate will fall down which you need to break in order to obtain the star.
3rd Level
The third secret retro level can be found in stage 5 – Underground. You will find the arcade box on the second level of this stage inside the biker bar.
Similarly like the other two retro levels, you need to use the taser on the arcade box to access the retro stage. But make sure while fighting the enemies not to destroy the arcade as it will on the way.
In this stage, you need to fight stage 4 boss of Streets Of Rage 2 called “Abadede”. Defeat the boss and destroy the crates to collect the star.
4th Level
The final retro level can be found in stage 8 – Art Gallery. Before fighting the boss you will find an arcade cabinet on the top side. Just below the cabinet you will find the wooden boxes. Behind these boxes you will find the taser lying on the ground.
A small tip of a taser can be seen if you look closely, so just stand behind the boxes and pick up the taser. Use the taser in the arcade box to access the final retro stage.
In the final retro stage, you will fight the boss of Streets Of Rage 2 called “Mr. X”. Before fighting Mr. X you will have to defeat few enemies and one of his close man “Shiva”. Similarly after defeating the “Mr. X” a crate will fall down with star inside it.
