Mount and Blade Bannerlord is one of the classic Action-RPG and strategy game developed and published by TaleWorlds Entertainment. The game was released recently and saw a tremendous player base on steam surpassing more than 200K players.
You can dive directly into the single-player campaign and do various things like recruit troops, buy products, fight with other factions, siege castle and much more.
In this post, I will talk about how to smelt weapons, resources you need to do that and how to find charcoal in this game.
Mount And Blade Bannerlord Smelt Weapons
To first smelt a weapon, you need to have some kind of weapon that can be broken down. You can easily get these weapons by raiding NPC. After gathering some weapons, you need to click on a city.
There you will find a Smithy option if you can’t enter the Smithy, it means you do not have any weapons that can be smelted. To smelt a weapon, you need a resource called “Charcoal”.
Smelting weapons will also grant you some hardwood and different resources. After refining a few times, if you are unable to do more. You need to wait a day or two in-game time to smelt again. You can either fast forward the time or wait in cities or villages to pass time faster.
Mount And Blade Bannerlord Charcoal
To get charcoal you need to refine hardwood in this game. You can buy hardwood from different cities or villages. Refining these hardwoods at the smithy will give you charcoal.
You can visit smithy by clicking on any city and selecting the option from the left side menu. It takes 2 hardwood to get 1 charcoal.
Note: Hardwood earned from smelting weapons will vary. Some will get you 2/3/4 or nothing at all. So you need to focus on weapons that will give you the highest Hardwood, so you don’t need to waste denar on buying from cities or villages.
