In Nioh 2, you encounter a purple Kodama in a tunnel when you are on the second main mission “The Beast Born Of Smoke And Flames”. In the tunnel, your character concludes after listening and looking at Sudama’s(Purple Kodama) gesture that It Seems As Though It Wants Something. Once you have entered the second main mission, advance forward where you will fight against Enki after the Shrine in the corrupted area. Defeat Enki in order to cleanse the area to unlock the chest. Just before you reach the small bridge, turn back to enter the very opposite hut as shown in the image above.
