Code Vein How To Defeat The First Main Boss Oliver Collins
Code Vein is the latest action role-playing game developed by BANDAI NAMCO Studios. In this game, you will be playing as a revenant who has lost his blood code. Blood code is the special power that can be equipped by the revenant to change its class.
In this game, only you have the ability to use multiple blood code as you belong to the void type. Each blood code has some unique power and gifts that you need to unlock and equip in order to use them. To unlock these gifts and level up your character, you need to collect Haze by killing enemies. Haze is the in-game currency that is used and can only be used near a mistle or shop.

Whenever you die in this game, all the Haze that you have collected will drop. You need to go back to the same place again to collect these Haze and then head towards a mistle to upgrade your character.
In this post of Code Vein, I will show you how to defeat the first main boss “Oliver Collins”, some important tips to easily master the game and choose the best blood code and equipment.
Code Vein How To Defeat Oliver Collins
Oliver will be the first ally in this game during your journey of finding Blood beads in the underground. While searching for blood bead, Oliver will be attacked by a lost creature and his mask will break off.
Oliver will tell you to continue your journey in finding the blood beads and he will be back later. Once you find the blood bead and reach the surface, you will see Oliver turned into a Lost and attacking the revenants.
Tips To defeat Oliver:
If you are unable to defeat the boss, we recommend you to go back to the underground, collect more Haze and level up your character.
Try using different blood code, that suits your play style. You can also use Ranger to shoot Oliver from a range and dodge his attacks.
‘If you are using fighter blood code, you can obtain a rare “Queenslayer Great Sword” in the dungeon before fighting Oliver. Check out the latest post on how to obtain this rare weapon?
You need to dodge Oliver attacks by pressing circle at the perfect time. Once Oliver turns into lost, when his HP drops to 50%, he will do some AOE damage. So make sure to dodge those AOE attack, else you will take a fatal hit.
Before engaging with Oliver make sure you have some regeneration stored up from the mistle.
Don’t forget to unlock and equip new gifts of other blood codes.
