Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is a third-person survival game developed by Panache Digital Games. The game is based is on the evolution of humankind starting from 10 million BC where you will start your journey as an ape and try to survive by constantly adapting to your environment. As you constantly evolve and learn new things, these are passed on to your descendants.
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey can be quite a complex game, given the task of guiding an entire race to evolution. At the beginning of the game, you can see a broken bone symbol at the bottom left corner of the game screen if you jump from too high. Broken bones can affect your movement speed and also you can see a change in the walking stance of the ape. The freezing coldness symbol will occur if you roam around in the rain for too long or during the nights. I exactly don’t know the side effect of coldness but still, your screen turns to ice which affects your vision.
How To Heal Broken Bones And Coldness
To heal broken bones and coldness, you need to discover Khat(Catha Edulis). Khats can be found in the small trees which have reddish-orange leaves and is a food item. If you are not able to find this item, you can focus on your intelligence and try to find the boxes which have question marks on them.
Even if you don’t have broken bones or coldness, khat act as a food item and after consuming it, you can see the broken bones and coldness sign at the bottom left corner of the screen. But this time the buffs will be positive as you can see the green color inside the shield.
Khat can also be altered by using a stone into Grinded Khat. Grinded Khat provides full positive buff. While you have to eat Khat 4-5 times to maximize the positive buff.
Positive buffs are the nutrients that you get after consuming food. Means if your coldness buff is fully green, it will take a lot of time to get affected by the cold from the rain. If you see these symbols in the grey color, that means you have been affected with the negative buff. You need to wait for a certain period of time to automatically remove these negative buffs or find certain items to remove them early.
