You as the new industrialist entrepreneur will need to build and manage the economy, gather resources, construct proper factory lines and more.

How To Find And Harvest Coal In Rise Of Industry

Throughout the progression of the game, you will need to get different types of resources to run your empire.

One of the resources necessary is coal which is required for the production of various important items and helping you expand your region. so below you will find a guide on how to find coal and how to harvest the coal.

To find the coal for harvesting you will need to carefully observe your map for black stones on the ground. when you find one of these black stone clusters you will know that you have found your coal. the larger the black stone cluster the larger will the coal deposit and the longer it will last.

Now to harvest the coal you will need to build a coal mine near the coal deposits. to build it you can select the coal mine structure from the Gatherers menu/tab.

After selecting it, pick the coal mine structure and then place it near the Coal deposit you choose.

Just note that the coal mine can only be built if the prompt structure turns green near the deposit. when it turns green just place it on the map to construct it.

Now just place the harvesters on the deposit area so that they can harvest the coal which you can now use for running your empire.
