How To Get Scraps For Crafting And Repairing In Days Gone

Through the game progression, you will be able to use various items, weapons, and bikes. but excessive use of them can break them.

To craft or repair a new item you will need Scraps which can be confusing to get at the early part of the game. so below you will find a guide on how to get Scraps.

Methods To Obtain Scraps

From Cars – The best and the easiest way to get scrap in the wide-open world is by dismantling the parts of the cars. just approach the car and interact with the hood to get the loot. each car gives 3-5 scraps.

Just note that not all cars will have loots in them. so you might need to go through plenty of different cars. the good thing about looting cars is that the game respawns new cars for the players. all you need to do find them.

Enemies – You can also find scrap loot on some enemies. so make sure that you check them after you kill them.

Open World – The last way to get scrap is by just roaming through the open world. you will find plenty of buildings, roads, and other location where you will sometimes find a small amount of scrap.

Just like cars the scrap in the open world also respawns. so you just need to roam around the map and search the buildings.

How To increase Scrap Inventory Space For Loot

Just looting 2-4 cars will fill up your inventory this restricts your ability to carry more items. so you will need to increase the inventory limit.

To do that you will need to get the Survival Skill called “Carry That Weight” which is a high tier skill which means you will need to spend a good amount of points to get there.
