How To Fix FPS (Frame rate per second)
To most common reason for FPS issue is because of the game using integrated graphics rather than the Nvidia Graphics card.
To fix it you need to follow the steps listed below.
- Go To the Desktop, right-click, and select the Nvidia Control Panel.
- Click on the “Manage 3D Settings”
- From the new Panel select the Program Settings Tab.
- Now you will need to select Borderlands from the drop down option menu.
- If you can’t find it just click the Add button and then select the Borderlands file.
- Now you need to switch the preferred graphics processor from the integrated graphics to the High-Performance Nvidia Processor
- Now hit Apply and play the Game.
Second Method To Fix FPS
If the above method is not working then mostly like the Texture filtering for the game is not correct.
So once again you need to follow the above method.
- Right Click Desktop and select Nvidia Control Panel.
- Then select Manage 3D settings.
- Then Select Program Settings
- Now you need to select the Borderlands file and enter the Texture Filtering options.
