To get this sword you will need to first kill Genichiro Ashina. he is the guy who cuts your arm off at the beginning of the game.
He can be found on top of the Ashina Castle and is one of those annoying bosses which are quite hard to deal with. to make things more difficult he comes in 2 phases.
How To Defeat Genichiro – To defeat him you will need to let him get as close as you can and block every attack. once you get an opening attack and keep filling his posture meter.
Beware of this jump as they are unblockable attacks but can be countered. so be ready for it.
Talk To Kuro
Once you defeat him you will save Lord Kuro. then you need to talk Lord Kuro who will instruct you to go to the Senpou Temple.
In the Senpou Temple, you will need to get to the Main Hall Sculptor’s idol. here you will find a table and a statue behind it. on this particular table, you will find the bell. just ring it and you will enter the Halls Of Illusion.
Now you need to defeat the Folding Screen Monkeys in which you will need to kill four monkeys. you can use the Divine Confetti and Gachiin’s Sugar to make the fight easier.
Once you have done that you will be sent to the Inner Sanctum. now go into the building and talk to the girl who is the Divine Heir Of Rejuvenation. interact with her and you will obtain the Mortal Blade.
