Get The Bell
The first step is to speak with the old woman who can be found right after fighting the first boss Samurai General Naomori Kawarada.
After defeating the boss you will need to defeat more enemies. once you have defeated all of them you will hear a ringing bill in the second floor of a destroyed building.
Follow the sound and speak to her and she will give you a bell. after getting the bell, bring it to Buddha. this will send you to the past.
Learning About The Fire Barrel
Now with the bell proceed into the Ashina Area and you will find a Merchant. talk to him and he will ask for 50 sen, give it to him and you will tell a story.
Then you need to give more 100 sen and he will provide you with information about the Fire Barrel which can be found in the Hirata Estate.
Getting The Fire Barrel
So now when you go back to the Hirata Estate proceed forward on the bridge and continue.
When you reach the Estate path idol. jump across the walls on the right side and continue going until you find enemies around a camp.
Kill all the enemies and inside the tent, you will find a Flame Barrel Tool.
