Dead Or Alive 6 – How To Counter Throw, Counter Break, Counter Hold
Dead Or Alive 6 will be the sixth main game in the DOA franchise. it is running on the new engine and is currently available on all major platforms like PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
The base game brings 27 playable characters and two of them are Diego and Nico which are new to the series. it also brings beginner friendly mechanics like Fatal Rush and advance mechanics like Fatal reversal, Break Guage and more.
How To Counter Throw, Counter Break, And Counter Hold In Dead Or Alive
To get an advantage over your opponents you will need to learn about all the different mechanics, character’s moves, combos, and more.
The Counter Throw, Counter Break, Counter Hold are some of the mechanics in the game which you need to know about as these particulars mechanics lets you defend and attack quickly.
So below you will need a guide which details how to perform Counter Throw, Counter Break, and counter Throw. just note these are a bit advanced so it would require practice to perfect them.
Counter Throw
To perform counter throw you will need to press Throw and Guard button when your opponent is using the throw on you. just note that you will need to use your throw while the opponent is in the throw animation.
On PS4 you will need to press X and Square, On Xbox One you will need to press A and x, and on PC you will need to press M and J (Default keys).
Counter Break
To perform counter break you will need to land an attack on your enemy while they are also performing an attack animation on you. doing a counter break will stagger your enemy for a brief moment which will give an attack opening.
Counter Hold
To perform counter hold you will need to press the hold button while your opponent is in the middle of a punch or kick. doing this disable will disable their incoming attacks.
On PS4 you will need to press left d-pad and square, on Xbox One you will need to press left d-pad and B, and on PC you will need to press left direction and J (Default keys).
