Jump Force has been finally released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. it has been released by Developer Spike Chunsoft Co., Ltd. and Publisher BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment and will be a fighting genre game.

The game will have several different game modes and consists of 42 different playable characters from 16 different popular manga series like Boruto Next Generation, Bleach, One Piece, My Hero Academia, Hunter x Hunter, and more.

Basic Controls, Beginner Combos, And Advance Combos In Jump Force

Throughout the game, you will be able to use various different characters who have unique abilities.

But the game’s combat system has several button combinations which can be quite confusing. some combos are easy to perform and some are very hard to execute.

So in this guide, you will find the basic controls, basic combos and advanced combos which you master and become a good shonen fighter in Jump Force.

PS4/Xbox Controls
  • Dash – L1/ LB (use to chase or escape enemy)
  • Jump – X/A
  • Energy Charge – Hold R2/ Hold RT
  • Escape – L1/ LB (do it while guarding)
  • Guard – Hold R1/ Hold RB
  • Heavy Attack – Triangle/ Y (press them quickly for more attacks)
  • Heavy Smash – Hold Triangle/ Hold Y (use when the opponent is on the ground.)
  • High-Speed Counter – Square/ X (use it just before you get hit)
  • High Speed Dodge – R2/RT (use it just before you get hit)
  • Movement – Left Analog Stick
  • Support Attack – Hold L2/ Hold L2
  • Switch – L2/LT
  • Throw – Circle/B
  • Rush Attack – Square/X (press rapidly for chain attacks, you can change it by pressing up or down)
  • Smash Attack – Hold Square/X (Break the opponent’s guard)
  • Pound Attack – Down+Square/Down+x (must be performed while jumping)
  • Sidestep – Left Analog Stick + R1/ Left Analog-stick + RB (Avoids incoming homing attacks)
  • Vanish – R2+X/RT+A (need to be done while performing a heavy or a rush attack and press left or right to move quickly in your preferred direction.)
  • Ability 1, 2, and 3 – Hold R2 + Triangle, Square or Circle/ Hold RT + Y, X or B (these commands can be used for three different ability.)
  • Awaken – R3 analog stick (only works when the awakening gauge is at least 50%)
  • Ultimate Awakening – R2+L2/RT+LT (use after activating Awaken, just note it is not available for all characters)
  • Ultimate Technique – R2+X/RT+A (use when the awakening gauge is at least 50% full.
Basic/ Beginner Combo In Jump Force

Performing basic combo in Jumpforce is pretty easy and the buttons strings are easy to do. but before you jump into combo remember that pressing X or Y 4 times in a row will end the combo and pressing it 3 times + any other button will extend the combo.

  • X Combo – pressing X 3 times
  • Y Combo – pressing Y 3 times
  • X Combo > Y Combo – X, X, X, Y, Y ,Y
  • Y Combo > X Combo – Y, Y, Y, X, X, X
  • X Combo > Super – X, X, X, RT + X/Y/B
  • X Combo > Ultimate – X, X, X, RT + A
  • Y Combo > Super – Y, Y, Y, RT + X/Y/B

Advanced Combos In Jump Force

Below you will find the strings of advanced combo just note that you should refer to the basic combo for the respective button combination listed below.

Furthermore before you use the combo below you need to know about your characters super effects and how they function.

  • Super with Knockdown – this refers to super attacks which have a Knock down effect. what is Knockdown? any attack which makes the opponent fall or tumbles down.
  • Super with knockback – this refers to super attacks which have knockback effect. what is knockback? any attack which sends the opponent flying.
