Far Cry New Dawn – How To Invite Friends For Co-op Gameplay
Far Cry New Dawn has been finally released by Publisher Ubisoft and Developer Ubisoft Montreal. it will be a spin-off sequel to Far Cry 5 and just like the previous game, it would be a first-person shooter.
The story of the game takes place seventeen years after the Nuclear Collapse which destroyed everything. now you the survivors are facing the organized bandits led by twin sisters Mickey and Lou and the survivors are now forced to team up with the new Eden to survive.
How To Invite Friends For Co-op Gameplay In Far Cry New Dawn
Just like the previous FC game, in the new iteration too you will be able to enjoy co-op gameplay with your friend and complete the post-apocalyptic world.
But as the inviting feature is buried along with other options. it is a bit hard to figure out where it is and how it works.
So in this guide, you will learn how to invite your friends and play the game. you will also find some details about the CO-OP works in Far Cry New Dawn.
Basic Of How To Invite
To invite your friend for Co-Op gameplay you need to go the title screen and then press the button associated with the “In game party” option present at the bottom right corner of the screen.
After pressing the “In game party” you will find the “Invite player” option. select it and then you will need to invite the friend with whom you want to play from your friend list.
Just note that there is no matchmaking for story co-op and it only works with two players.
How to invite players when you are already in the game’s story mode.
To do this press the same button associated with the “In game party” option. for PS4 press Touchpad and for Xbox on press View Button.
Then click the online section on the top tab. after pressing it just select the “Invite Friends” and then select the friends you want to play with from the friend list.
Things to Note While playing CO-OP
While playing the story in a Co-op mode only the host will be able to unlock the Trophies and Achievements.
All the progress saves, and loads will be taken from the host and anything from the invited player will not matter regardless of their progress into the game and the most important part it won’t overwrite the joining player progress.
