Resident Evil 2 Remake – Location Of All The Weapons
Resident Evil 2 Remake 2019 has finally arrived on Xbox, PS4, and PC. it has been created by Developer Capcom R&D Division 1 and Publisher CAPCOM Co., Ltd and will be an action survival horror game where you will be able to play as different characters.
The new iteration has the same story, the Raccoon City has fallen to a deadly virus which has turned a majority of the citizens to vicious zombies. now it’s up to the player on how they use the rookie police officer Leon and the college student Claire and decide their fate.
Location Of All The Weapons In Resident Evil 2 Remake 2019
Through the game, you will find a very limited amount of ammo for different types of weapons. so knowing the location of the all the weapons will be very handy to progress through the game and fight the zombies.
There are a total of eleven different weapons present in the game. five for Leon and six for Claire. there are two weapons an unlimited ammo Pistol and an unlimited ammo SMG but you need S Rank to get them.
So in this guide, you will find how to get all the eleven different weapons in Resident Evil 2 Remake.
Leon – W870 Shotgun/ Claire – GM 79 Grenade Launcher
To get these weapons, first, you need to get the Spade Key from the 3rd floor. with this key go to the east side of the 2nd floor and enter the Art Room. here you will find the Keycard from the table.
With the Keycard go to the first floor and proceed towards the Safety Deposit room. in this room use the Keycard at the end of the room and a locked cabinet will open. doing this will give you W870 Shotgun for Leon and GM 79 Grenade Launcher.
Leon – Lightning Hawk Magnum/ Claire – MQ 11 Submachine Gun SMG
Before you begin your quest to unlock this weapon you need to clear the Parking lot part and get the clubs Key for Leon and Heart Key for Claire. then you proceed to the first step of unlocking the weapon.
First Get the Red Jewel – go to the second floor and proceed to the Library and get the Red book from the table.
Now with the Red book go to the east side of the second floor and enter the Art Room. here you will find a statue and an arm of the statue next to it.
Place the Redbook on the Statue arm and place the arm on the statue. this will give you a scepter, you need to examine it, turn it around and get the Red Jewel.
Now take the Red Jewel and go to the Interrogation room/ Observation room and combine it with the Jewelry box and you will receive the S.T.A.R.S badge. examine this badge and you will get a USB drive.
Take the USB drive and use it on the computer in S.T.A.R.S Office and it will unlock the weapons locker. now you can just go get the weapon from the locker of the S.T.A.R.S office.
Leon – Chemical Flamethrower/ Claire – Spark Shot
Go to the lower sewers and proceed through Bottom Waterway into the Supplies Storage Room. here you will need to get the Queen Plug and place it on the only other available socket. this will open the door.
So follow this path and go upstairs and get the King Plug. then use the King chess plug on the Weapon Locker door to open and you will get the weapons.
Claire – JMB Hp3 Laser Sight Pistol
Go to B1 and enter the Parking Garage, then enter the firing range. here you need to get the Yellow box sitting on a table. examine the box and you will get a Car Key.
With the Car Key, go to the Parking Garage and look for a Police car. go to the trunk of this car and examine car key to open the trunk. this will give you the JMB Hp3 Laser sight pistol for Claire and weapon upgrade if it Leon.
Leon – Rocket Launcher/ Claire – Minigun
During the final boss fight, Leon will receive a Rocket Launcher and Claire will receive a Minigun. both these weapons are story related and cannot be missed.
Leon B – M19 Pistol/ Claire B – Quickdraw Army Revolver
Once you have completed your first playthrough of the game. you can start a new run by going to the title menu and selecting “New Game 2nd Run”.
This will start your B campaign and the first room on the Police station will be the Guardroom. in this room, you will find the new weapon next to the big storage box.
Pistol With Infinite Ammo
Complete the game with S rank on normal game mode in Resident Evil 2 Remake.
SMG with Infinite Ammo
Complete the game with S rank on Hardcore game mode.
