Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom has been released on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One and will be coming out on Steam via PC in early 2019. it is an action platform game created by Publisher FDG entertainment and Developer Game Atelier.
In the game player will play as Jin a young protagonist of the game whose objective is to the save the Monster World Kingdom from evil enemies. you need defeat different enemies, find secret objects, and unlock new skills.

How To Solve Corked Well Puzzle and Get the 8 Bit World
First, go to the center of the Village of Lupia and you will find the corked well.
Find the Hidden Switches
You need to find five hidden switches located in the Village of Lupia to open the corked well.
Switch #1 – go to the door of the sanctuary and you will find the switch in the top right corner of the arch.
Switch #2 – go to the Inn building with a blue roof. now go to the lower roof and then attack the higher roof (right side of the taller roof). this will give you the switch.
Switch #3 – go to Ollie and then switch to pig form. here on the right side of Ollie, you will be able to sniff out the hidden switch present on the left side of the fountain, on the ground.
Switch #4 – go to the windmill and then climb the wooden scaffolding platform. on top of the platform turn to Pig form and sniff out the switch.
Switch #5 – go to the Blacksmith building with a red box. on the right side of the door, you will find a box. attack and destroy it to reveal the switch.
Turn The Tower Dial
Once you flipped all the five switches a special dial (+ Sign dial) will appear on the white tower behind the warp portal.
Here you need to turn into the frog form and then use the tongue to rotate the dial in the order listed below
- Left x1
- Right x2
- Left x2
- Right x1
- Left x2
- Right x1
- Left x1
- Right x2
- Left x1
Doing the above step correctly will open the corked well.
Light The Fires
Jump into the well and you will find another puzzle. here turn into the pig form and sniff to discover a hidden clock near the unlit torches.
This is a clue related to the clock in the village. go to the village and the clock will point to five numbers. this particular number points to the order you need to light the torch with the fire magic. to make your task easier below you will find the correct order.
The order to light them from left to right are – 3, 1, 4, 2, 5
Doing the above correctly will open the door.
The Glitchy 8-bit realm in Monster Boy And The Cursed Kingdom
Enter through the door and you will enter an area with a TV and console. interact with it and you will be sent into a Glitchy World with a warning message saying Monster Boy has encountered a problem is several different languages.
Here you will need to attack and destroy all the text before the loading bar below fills up.
Doing the above will send you to an old retro video game world. here you will face different enemies and a ROBO dragon boss. defeat it by attacking its head and you will get a Heart Piece.
