Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee will be the first Pokemon game exclusively released for Nintendo Switch. it has been created by Developer Game Freak and the popular Publisher Nintendo.

Players in the game will be able to battle other players in online and local mode. you can capture more than 150 pokemon and also trade them with other players. furthermore, the evolution system allows you to evolve to Mega and Alolan forms.

Throughout the game, you will be able to capture many different types of Pokemon. some are common, some are pretty rare and some can be only be obtained if you get certain items.

The Dome and Helix Fossil are one of the many items present in the game. these fossils can be used to bring back Prehistoric Pokemon. the only problem is that they are very rare.

So below you will find a guide on how to get these fossils and the details on both of them so you can make a better decision.

Location Of Dome and Helix Fossil

To get Dome Fossil and Helix Fossil you will need to go to Mt Moon. it is in the top section of the map and its description says that there is an abundance of fossils.

How To Get Dome And Helix Fossil

Once you reach Mt Moon you will have to battle many different trainers to progress through the area.

you will need to look for a Trainer who is wearing glasses, gray shirt, and black pants and shoes. you will find him standing next to two rock blocks. these two blocks are the Dome and Helix.

Interact with this trainer and he will give you an option to either choose Dome Fossil or Helix Fossil.

Choice – Dome Or Helix?

Dome – If you want Kabuto which can later be evolved into Kabutops then you should choose Dome Fossil. it is a rock/water Pokemon and has blades as Armors.

Helix – If you want Omanyte which can later be evolved into Omastar then you should choose Helix fossil. it is rock/water Pokemon and looks like a Shellfish.

To get the above Pokemon you will need to trade them. but you cannot do it until you get to Cinnabar Island which is quite further into the game. it is located below Pallet Town and you will be able to get there when you can surf.

How To Get More Dome and Helix Fossil

While progressing through the story you might only get one of them but it is being reported that once you complete the main story you will be able to get more of these fossils.

Reddit user magikarpex says that he found one Helix / Dome fossil in the Cave near Cerulean city after finishing the main story.
