Fallout 76 – How To Gain And Remove Wanted/Bounty Status
Fallout 76 is set in the year 2102 in an alternate history which is twenty-five years after the nuclear war and will serve as the Prequel to the Fallout series.
You will play in the online multiplayer world based in West Virginia. your character will be a resident of Vault 76 who is part of a plan to explore the wasteland and re-colonize it.
How To Gain And Remove Wanted/Bounty Status In Fallout 76
Throughout the game, you will be able to participate in many different main quest, side quest, challenges, and other activities.
The Wanted/ Bounty status is the latest addition in the game which lets players gain a Wanted status similar to Red Dead Redemption 2 but the mechanics in Fallout 76 functions a bit differently.

How To Gain Wanted/Bounty Status
To get the wanted status on yourself you will need to first locate Human players in your server. once you find them just shoot at them and deal damage.
If the other player shoot backs at you then it would mean that he has accepted the fight. this way you will be able to fight till death considering if the other player just doesn’t leave the server.
But if you shoot at other players and they do not fire back and you still kill them then you will be marked as a wanted character on the map.
Now in most cases, you certainly won’t be able to kill another human player because the PVP system is kinda broken. players can just leave the server with any penalty and not die.
So if you want to raise bounty you should try stealing other people items mostly foods, plants, water and more. you can even destroy their base and you will gain some wanted/bounty points.
So all you need to do is Kill other players, steal items and destroy the base. basically just harm other players and you will raise your bounty.
How To Remove Wanterd Status
Once you have gained wanted status you won’t be able to remove it until you die. there is no system present in the game where you can just pay off your bounty or surrender to some authorities to remove bounties. even switching server won’t remove it.
So you will have to let your character die to the bounty hunters which are basically other human players. once you get killed off the hunter will gain the bounty and your wanted status will get removed.
