Red Dead Redemption 2 – Location Of All Exotics And Request Guides
Red Dead Redemption 2 is the third entry in the Red Dead series. it comes with new and old mechanics like Dueling, hunting, fishing, and other wild west activities.
You will play as Arthur Morgan who along with his gang is trying to escape the bounty hunter and lawmen. you will be able to collect new weapons, horses, talismans and other items to increase Morgans abilities.

Throughout the game, you will be able to complete many different main story quests, challenges, side quest and much more.
In Chapter 4 you will meet a guy named Algernon Wasp in Saint-Denis in the northern part of the town. he will give you a side quest named “Dutchess and other Animals”.
This particular quest you consists of five Exotics quest in which you need to find and collect different resources like birds and plants.
Below you will find a guide which will list the location of all plants and birds. just remember the following.
- Important Tip – Use the Eagle vision in the area listed below to find plants easily. the plants emit blue color around them when you use eagle vision.
- Important Tip – The birds are random and need a bit of grind so stick with the process mentioned below.
Exotic Request #1 Of Red Dead Redemption 2
5x Snowy Egret plumes – can be found on the southeastern part of the map. you will need to head over to Blackwater marsh and from there move south-west towards Bolger glade.
During your ride, you need to look for flocks of birds flying together. once you find them, shoot them all down and then pick their bodies. you may find the snowy Egret plumes.
Remember these birds will only spawn during daytime and can be either herons, ducks, and other Egrets. you need to keeping going back and forth between blackwater marsh and Bolger blade until you get the 5 Snowy Egrets.
5x Little Egret Plumes – there are three different species of Egrets. the little egrets are one of the species. you can find this subspecies by following the method listed above for Snowy Egret.
5x Reddish Egret Plumes – as mentioned above this is also one of the Egret species. you need to follow the method described for snowy egret and grind it until you get 5 reddish egrets.
15x Lady Of the Night Orchids – can be found on the southeastern part of the map. you can find plenty of these plants in two locations. it grows on trees.
- In the southeastern part of the map go to Bayou. once there go west from Bayou and look for the plants on trees. it is white in color.
- In the southeastern part of the map go to Caliga Hall. once there go north towards the water and you will find plenty of these plants.
Exotic Request #2 Of Red Dead Redemption 2
7x Lady Slipper Orchids – can be found on the western side of the map. you will need to go to West Elizabeth. it grows on the ground.
- In the western part of the map go to Big Valley. once there search for the plants on the west side of this area.
- In the southwestern part of the map go to the word tall written vertically. here you will find some these plants.
10x Moccasin Flower Orchids – can be found on the eastern side of the map. you just need to go to location present below letter “R” of the word New Hanover. it grows on the ground.
20x Heron Plumes – can be found on the southeastern part of the map. you need to roam between Blackwater Marsh and Bolger glade. while riding look for flocks of birds. when you find them shoot them down and then look for the required bird’s body. now skin them and get the feather. you need to repeat this process until you get 20x plumes.
Exotic Request #3 Of Red Dead Redemption 2
3x Acuna’s Star Orchids – can be found on the southeastern part of the map. you will need to go to Lagras and go from there go east and look for the plant on trees.
5x Ghost Orchids – can be found on the southeastern part of the map. you will need to go to Shady Belle(present on the southeastern corner from Bolger glade). once there search for the plant on trees on the eastern part of the shady belle. most of them are located near the water.
7x Cigar Orchids – can be found on the southeastern part of the map. you will need to go to Bluewater Marsh and from there search east and northeast area. the plant can be found on trees.
25x Gator Eggs – can be found in the whole area of the Lagras, Bluewater Marsh and Kamasa River. these eggs are present in a nest on the ground. each nest contains 3-5 eggs and in the most situation always has a big alligator near it.
Exotic Request #4 Of Red Dead Redemption 2
5x Night Scented Orchids – can be found in the southeastern corner of the map you can find them in the following location. on the trees
- In south and southeastern part of the Braithwaite Manor.
- In the southern part of Bolger glade.
5x Spider’s Orchids – can be found on the southeastern part of the map. you need to go Bayou, once there look for the plant on the trees on the northwest, West, and south-west direction of Bayou.
10x Rat Tail Orchids – can be found on the southeastern part of the map. you will need to look for it on the trees located around Lagras. you can also find them below the Blackwater Marsh.
30x Spoonbill Plumes – can be found in the southeastern part of the map. you will need to roam between blackwater marsh and Bolger glade. while riding look for flocks of birds. once you find them shoot them down and if the carcass is of Spoonbills then you can skin them and get the feather.
Exotic Request #5 Of Red Dead Redemption 2
5x Clamshell Orchids – can be found on the southeastern corner of the map. you will need to go Caliga hall(located south-west from Saint-Denis). once you reach there move east near the water and start going south. you will find the orchid on trees along the water.
5x Dragon’s Mouth Orchids – can be found in the northern part of the map. you need to go Grizzlies east. it grows on the ground.
- head towards O’Creagh’s Run and search for it around the water.
- you can also go to moonstone pond and then west to find.
- More of these can be found on the location above the letter “E” of the word Grizzlies.
5x Queen’s Orchids – can be found in the southeastern part of the map. you will need to go to Lagras and look for them on the ground.
5x Sparrow’s Egg Orchid – can be found in the northeastern part of the map. you will need to go to Annesburg. the whole Annesburg is filled with these plants mostly on the Roanoke Valley side and it grows on the ground.
