Red Dead Redemption 2 – Location Of All The Legendary Fish
Red Dead Redemption 2 has been finally released on PS4 and Xbox One. it will be the latest wild west game and will be the prequel to the 2010’s RDR 1.
The new game will be an open world action adventure game where you will play as Arthur Morgan the protagonist and one of the outlaws from the Dutch Van der Linde gang. it features many old and new mechanics like dueling, swimming, hunting and more.
Location Of All The Legendary Fish In Red Dead Redemption 2
Throughout the game, you will be able to collect many different types of weapons, items, and other collectibles.
Legendary Fish is one of the many collectibles present in the game. there are 14 different such fishes and catching them all will give you the achievement “it was THIS Big!” of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Below you will find the guide on how to catch the big fishes and also the location of all of them. so you can earn the trophy easily.
How To Catch Legendary Fish In Red Dead Redemption 2
To catch these fishes you will need to use special lures you can get the special lures from the bait shop present in Lagras (shop is present on top of “L” of the word Lagras).
The three lures are Special Lake Lure, Special River Lure, and Special Swamp Lure. each of them cost $20. the special lures are needed to hook legendary fish. you won’t need any bait as it does not work on them.
Now go to the location where you want to fish and equip the fishing rod and then use the correct lure. you can use any lure you want the only difference is that it the correct lure speeds up the fishing process. below you will find the correct lure needed for every fish.
Location Of All The Legendary Fish In Red Dead Redemption 2
Legendary Bullhead Catfish – can be found in the southeastern corner of the map. you will need to go to Sisika Penitentiary. once you reach there go to the southwestern part of this island area.
- Here you need to use Special River Lure.
Legendary Bluegill – can be found in the southeastern part of the map. you will need to go to Rhodes and from there head south-west towards the water. (note pop up the map and look for the word “E” and “A” for the word Meadows, now from here straight to east in the water you will find the Bluegill).
- Here you need to use Special Lake Lure.
Legendary Chain Pickerel – can be found in the southern part of the map. you will need to go to Flatneck station. once there pop up the map and look for the first Dakota river word in the northwest direction. you will need to starting fishing at the location present after the word “river”.
- Here you will need to use Special River Lure.
Legendary Largemouth Bass – can be found in San Luis River. once you reach there start fishing at the west side of the Letter “S” in word San.
- Here you will need to use Special Lake Lure.
Legendary Large Sturgeon – can be found in the southeastern corner of the map. you will need to go Saint-Denis and from there head towards south-west where you will find a train track bridge. you will need to fish under it.
- Here you need to use Special River Lure.
Legendary Longnose Gar – can be found in the southeastern part of the map. you will need to go to Lagras and fish in the location just below letter “G” and “R” of the word Lagras.
- Here you need to use Special Swamp Lure.
Legendary Muskie – can be found in the eastern corner of the map. you will need to go to Van Horn Trading. once you reach there you will need to go to the location just below the letter “R” for the word Trading.
- Here you need to use Special River Lure.
Legendary Perch – can be found on the eastern side of the map. you will need to go to Elysian Pool. just use the lure below and you will get the fish.
- Here you need to use Special Lake Lure.
Legendary Redfin Pickerel – can be found in the southwestern part of the map. you will need to go to Still water creek and fish at the leftmost finger of the creek.
- Here you will need to use Special Lake Lure.
Legendary Rock Boss – can be found in the western corner of the map. you will need to go to Aurora basin (located north-west from Manzanita post).
- Here you will need to use Special Lake Lure.
Legendary Smallmouth Bass – can be found in the western part of the map. you will need to go to Owanjila (located west of Strawberry town). here you will need to start fishing from the eastern part of the lake.
- Here you will need to use Special Lake Lure.
Legendary Sockeye Salmon – can be found in the northwestern part of the map. you will need to go to Lake Isabella and start fishing at the southern part of the lake.
- Here you will need to use Special Lake Lure.
Legendary Steelhead Trout – can be found in the northeastern corner of the map. you will need to go to the Brandywine drop and from there go northeast till the end of the map and starting fishing.
- Here you need to use Special River Lure.
Legendary Catfish – can be found in after you caught 13 legendary fish and have mailed it back to Jeremy Gill.
He will then send you an invite after 1-2 days. you can get from the post office. to read it open your satchel and look for it under the invitation document.
From here you will need to meet him at the hut and then you need to go to Rio Bravo in New Austin.
