Strange Brigade – Guide On How To Solve Puzzles

Publisher and Developer Rebellion have released their new game named Strange Brigade on PC, PS4, and Xbox. it is a third person action adventure game where players embark on an exotic journey into danger in this rip-roaring 1930s.

Players will be able to acquire different types of weapons in ancient 90s. you will have to avoid traps, fight enemies and solve different puzzles to progress through the game.

Guide On How To Solve Puzzles In Strange Brigade

In the game, there are a lot of clues, secret entrances and ancient contraptions which can only be activated if you solve the mind-numbing puzzles.

Throughout your gameplay, you will come across many different types of puzzles and each of them can be solved in a particular way.

If you are looking for any specific puzzle that you are stuck on then you won’t find them below. as every puzzle in the game is dynamic, the solutions to puzzles changes during each playthrough and also the puzzle in CO-OP are different from single player.

Below you will find puzzle types which are common in each playthrough and you can follow it to solve the puzzle easily in Strange Brigade.

Floor Symbols Puzzle

As the name suggests you will need to solve the puzzle present on the floor. so first locate the correct symbol order and memorize it or just take a screenshot. then proceed to walk over the symbol present on the floor in correct order.

But remember that the puzzle gets affected by anyone who walks on the puzzle piece it can either be your teammate or the enemies.

So always clear the area first and then solve the puzzle and only use other characters if they are required to solve the puzzle.

Symbols Door Puzzle

These puzzles can be found on the locked door and to unlock them you need to shoot in the correct order. the correct order for the door can be found just near the door or someplace else.

The Harbin’s Dig Site is one of the puzzles which has the similar door puzzles and the correct symbol order is just above the door. this is one of the easiest puzzles in this category but as you progress it will get harder.

The correct symbol order will be located far away from the door and to open it you will need to memorize them.

But you can make this step easy by taking a screenshot of the symbol order and then using one bullet to turn one symbol. remember you will only get three attempts to shoot the correct symbol order.

Glowing Blue Orb Puzzle

This particular puzzle is present in areas where you need to move a stone altar by using your amulet. you need to shoot down all the Blue glowing orb present in the area.

There is no particular order for shooting them you just need to find and shoot them down. as you progress the orbs would become more difficult to find. so search the area carefully or you will miss the orbs in Strange Brigade.

Time Puzzle

As the name suggests you will need to run against time and solve the puzzle. but the good thing about this puzzle is that there is no pattern.

To solve it first shoot the orb and it will start to rotate and indicate a timer like a clock. you will have to locate second and third glowing circles on the floor. once you locate them stand on them and shoot the orb to increase the time.

On the last glowing circle, you will need to shoot another orb which can either be present above or below the first orb.

To complete this puzzle successfully you should clear the area of all obstacles and enemies so that they don’t create problems. also check the area before and learn about locations of orb and circle, this will make the puzzle easier.

Pipes On Wall Puzzle

This one of the classic puzzles which you find in mini-games. there will be a glowing start location and an end location. you need to arrange the pipe in a particular order which will create a tunnel till the end.

Shoot a panel once to rotate the pieces of pipe. it will be better to use your infinite ammo gun as you may need to rotate the pipe multiple times.

Number Orb Puzzle

When you find multiple orbs at one location and hitting one of them causes all of them to stop glowing then you have arrived at one of the number orb puzzles.

To solve the puzzle you need to shoot the orbs in a particular numerical order. different puzzles have a different set of symbols which you need to observe.

So first shoot the orb present next to one symbol, then shoot the orb present next to two symbols, then shoot the orb present next to three symbols. this will be your numerical order.

Keep doing it until you complete the puzzle and you will be able to progress in Strange Brigade.
