Shenmue 1 & 2 – Where And How To Get The Phoenix Mirror

Developer D3T and Publisher SEGA have released their new game titled Shenmue 1 & 2. it is an action-adventure RPG game where players take the role of Ryo Hazuki a young teenage jujitsu artist who wants to avenge his father’s death.

In the Shenmue 1 & 2, players will be able to experience the same Shenmue but with improved graphics and enhanced user interface. you can explore the open 3D world and battle different enemies by using your Hazuki-style jujitsu.

Where And How To Get The Phoenix Mirror In Shenmue 1 & 2

Most of the mission in the game involves players fighting NPCs and searching for different people and items.

In one of the mission, players will be tasked with finding the Phoenix Mirror which can easily get tedious and confusing if you don’t know where to look for it. so below you will find a detailed guide on how to get it.

How to get the Phoenix Mirror – after receiving the mission from Master Chen at the docks, you will need to heat back to your house and search for it there but you need some items before you get to it.

So first enter your house and then look for a cabinet by the front door. there you will get a flashlight, pick it up.

Then you need to get the Key from your father’s room which is located at the end of the hall. to reach it just go left from the front door and then get past the kitchen. you will arrive at the hall, now just walk to the end and you will reach your father’s room.

Once you are inside the room look for a desk at the right side of the room. when you find the desk open the top right-hand drawer and inside you will find a small box. open the box and inside you will find the key.

Once you have done steps listed above go and talk to Ine-san and then to Fuku-san. after this, you will need to two more things a Sword guard and a light bulb.

Sword Guard – you can acquire the sword guard from the antique shop in Dobuita. the shop is located on the main road just as you enter Dobuita.

Light Bulb – you can get the light bulb from the Tomato convenience store. just get inside the store and get one of the bulbs from the shelves.

Once you have the flashlight, key, sword guard, and the light bulb return to your house and enter the dojo. in the dojo, you will a wooden box near the wall from which the Shodo calligraphy prints is hanging. you need to use the key on the box to open it.

Inside the box you will find a sword, now you need to remove the left print from the Shodo calligraphy wall and then insert the sword guard. after that remove the right print and insert the sword you got from the wooden box in the dojo.

This will reveal a secret basement located in the dojo. enter the basement by using the ladder and then use your flashlight to see in the dark. you will see a passage there follow it and you will arrive in an open area.

In the center of the open area, you will be able to see a spot for the light bulb. insert the bulb there and turn on the switch present in that room.

Now you will be able to see the area more clearly, look for a table at the back left corner of the room. once you find it remove the table and you will see a secret chamber.

You will need to break it by using the axe located near the entrance to the room leaning on the wall. inside this chamber, you will find the Phoenix Mirror in Shenmue 1 & 2.
