Guide On How To Make Chromatic Metal In No Man’s Sky Next
With the massive new update to the game, there are many new contents which might be confusing to both new and old players.
The Chromatic Metal is one of the new resources which is required to build some part of your base. the good thing about this resource is that you won’t need to search for it and you can craft it but it will require some equipment.
How To Make Chromatic Metal – Before you begin crafting this resource you will need a Portable Refiner. this equipment can be crafted anywhere and requires only Oxygen and Metal Plating which are easy to get. Oxygen will be present in all the planets and Metal plating can be easily made by using some basic raw materials from your inventory.
If you are a new player and have started the game with the new Next Update then you will be given a mission where you will need to craft the Portable Refiner but if you are an old player and have loaded an old save then you will not be given any instruction.
Once you have the Refiner you can make Chromatic metal by any one of the four basic resource Copper, Cadmium, Emeril or Indium. if you don’t have any of these then start farming the resource nodes on planets by using the Terrain Manipulator tool.
When you get one of those metals, place it in the Refiner and then fuel it up by using any fuel you want and start creating the new resource. when the Refiner stops you will get your own Chromatic metal which you can now use.
