Dark Souls: Remastered – Guide On Locations Of Ember

Developer QLOC and Publisher FromSoftware, Inc, BANDAI NAMCO have released the remastered version of their popular game titled as Dark Souls: Remastered. it is an action RPG game where players return to Lordan in a new stunning HD graphics with 60 FPS.

In Dark Souls: Remastered players will receive a weapon to fight various enemies. but as you progress in the game your weapon will become less and less effective. to upgrade the weapon you will need to collect embers which will increase the weapons damage and other traits. below is a guide on location all of the embers.

Guide On Locations Of Ember In Dark Souls: Remastered

In Dark Souls: Remastered you can collect ten different types of embers. each of them provides different traits and upgrades which makes the weapon more powerful.

Below you will find a guide to the location of all the ten embers, the blacksmith location to upgrade it and what improvement it does to your weapon.

Large Ember

• Location – The Depths
• Blacksmith – Andre of Astora
• Improves – turns +5 Normal into +10 Normal, +5 Normal into +5 Raw
• How to Get It – to get this ember enter the kitchen in the Depths and there you will find the Butcher. fight and defeat the butcher and look in the chest behind the butcher original location.

Very Large Ember

• Location – New Londo Ruins
• Blacksmith – Andre of Astora
• Improves – turns +10 Normal into +15 Normal
• How to get it – Drain the water present in New Londo Ruins. this will reveal a new area which contains the very large ember. you can also access this location from Valley of Drakes, to go there first arrive at the entrance of New Londo Ruins and take the path on the right. from there you need to get past many Dark wraiths and climb staircases. follow the path until you will arrive at a split path section. there you need to take the left path and you will find the chest with very large ember.

Crystal Ember

• Location – The Duke’s Archives
• Blacksmith – Giant Blacksmith
• Improves – +10 Normal to +5 Crystal
• How to get it – first go to The Duke’s Archives there you will find the bonfire outside on the bottom floor. from there go inside and take a right, pass through the room with the lever on the left side and you will enter a room full of bookcases. once there turn right and proceed to go through the opening in the bookcases there you will find a large chest with crystal ember inside.

Large Flame Ember

• Location – Demon Ruins
• Blacksmith – Blacksmith Vamos
• Improves – turns +5 Fire into +10 Fire
• How to get it – go to demon ruins and from there go to fog gate. from the gate take left from there you will find the path below. drop down on the path below and follow the path you will eventually find the chest with Large Flame Ember.

Chaos Flame Ember

• Location – Demon Ruins
• Blacksmith – Blacksmith Vamos
• Improves – turns +5 Fire into +5 Chaos
• How to get it – go to the demon ruins and defeat the Ceaseless Discharge. then go down into the open lava area. there will you will find the chest with Chaos Flame Ember.

Large Magic Ember

• Location – The Duke’s Archives
• Blacksmith – Rickert
• Improves – turns +5 Magic weapons into +10 Magic weapons
• How to get it – First defeat Seath the Scaleless and then return to the Duke’s Archives. you will find a chest in the center of a big room.

Enchanted Ember

• Location – Darkroot Garden
• Blacksmith – Rickert
• Improves – turns +5 Magic into +5 Enchanted
• How to get it – go to Darkroot Garden and then find the bonfire. from there go through Alvina’s Tower. take right and go through the forest. you will arrive in a watery area, there you will find the chest.

Divine Ember

• Location – Darkroot Garden
• Blacksmith – Andre of Astora
• Improves – turns +5 Normal into +5 Divine
• How to get it – first go to Darkroot Garden and defeat the Moonlight Butterfly. from there cross the bridge and head toward the tower. then climb to the top and you will find this Ember on a dead blacksmith.

Large Divine Ember

• Location – Tomb of the Giants
• Blacksmith – Andre of Astora
• Improves – turns +5 Divine weapons into +10 Divine weapons
• How to get it – first go to the Tomb of the Giants and from the first bonfire take the ladder and take right. then continue on the path until you arrive at a hole in the ground. enter the hole and you will arrive at a room, there you can collect the ember from the dead blacksmith

Dark Ember

• Location – Painted World of Ariamis
• Blacksmith – Andre of Astora
• Improves – turns +5 Divine into +5 Occult
• How to get it – go to the Painted World of Ariamis, on the left you will find a well enter it and take left there you need to destroy the wall to proceed. after that follow the path and you will receive the Annex Key from the corpse. get outside the well and then take right and then take left. you will find a wooden door to open it use the Annex Key. take the stairs and go down a set of stairs. there search for the ember in dead bodies.
