Collecting resources is one of the most important mechanics of the game as it will determine the survival of your community.
There are different resources which are needed for your community like water, ammo, medicine, electricity, and food. managing all of them can become quite tedious but there is a way you can get unlimited food supplies in the game.
During your playthrough, you will meet many types survivors but for getting unlimited food you will need to look out for the Drunk Survivors who are trying to build their alcohol distillery. when you approach them they will give you several quest request. you need to complete all of them.
One thing you should be careful about is their drunken behavior. they will sometime cause a fight but do not hit or kill them as this would ruin your main objective also do not recruit them as they are not useful for the community.
The drunk survivors will give you different resources collecting mission one of them is the wheat sack collection from a barn. you need to collect it but be sure not to deposit at your base as it will ruin the whole quest.
Another thing to note about the wheat sack is that it is not mission specific and is available at any point of the game. so if you have picked up the wheat sack before the quest just return it to its original place and it should reset it.
Now complete all the resources collecting mission for the drunk survivors and soon one of them will get infected by the plague. you need to take him to base and instruct other survivors to stop making alcohol and start making the medicine to cure the infected survivors. you need to complete it in 10 minutes.
Once you save the survivor the Drunk Survivor group will be available to call the airdrop which will give you food. the airdrop can be called over and over for unlimited food supplies.
One airdrop can be called for 75 influence and it has a cooldown of 8 minutes. each drop will contain food, Molotov, and liquor.
