State Of Decay 2 – Guide On How To Choose A Leader

Developer Undead Labs And Publisher Microsoft Studios have released their new game titled State Of Decay 2. it is an action-adventure survival game and a sequel to the 2013 State Of Decay in the new game players need to survive the apocalypse and make a thriving community.

In State Of Decay 2, players will encounter a lot of different problems like hordes of zombies, lack of resources and other threats. to make your community stronger against different problems you will need to choose a leader. below you will find a guide on how to do it.

In the zombie-infested world you will have to collect food, water, and other necessary resources so that your chances of survival increases, you would also need to recruit other characters so that you have enough hands to fight the apocalypse.

But a group of survivors cannot function well if they do not have a leader and so you will choose a leader who will guide the group and ensure the best possible decision.

Choosing a leader for your community would be one of the most important decision you will take in the game as the chosen leader will affect the main story with their respective traits. the leader would also affect the tasks and quests you do.

So to elect the best possible leader first click on the view button and then click on the community tab, this will bring a menu which will show all the community members. from there you can read about each of the survivor’s traits and skills and decide who is the best for you community.

Once you have decided take control of that particular character, now you need to start ranking them up. to rank up you can complete different missions and tasks like Killing zombies, destroying plague hearts, clearing infestation anything which increases your influence. you can follow the guide below to learn about influence points.

Soon your chosen character will start climbing from Recruit rank and once they reach the Hero rank you can choose them as the leader.

To appoint a leader you need to go to the Community tab and select the State of Decay logo, you will be able to see a list of survivors who are Hero rank and if you highlight them you can also see what type of leader there are for example. a warlord, sheriff and more.

Once you have your leader selected you will be able to see the leader’s quest line. you can play them and it will affect the world around you.
