Developer Undead Labs And Publisher Microsoft Studios have released their new game titled State Of Decay 2. it is an action-adventure survival game and a sequel to the 2013 State Of Decay in the new game players need to survive the apocalypse and make a thriving community.
In State Of Decay 2, players will encounter a lot of different problems like lack of resources, hordes of zombies and other threats. one of the problems players will face is the Plague Hearts which they need to destroy. below you will find a guide on how to search for them and destroy them.

Apocalypse has arrived on the earth, the infection is spreading rapidly and it is changing everyone into a zombie.
One of the main reason for the increase of infection is the Plague Hearts which is like a base for the zombies. these plaque hearts areas are filled with one of the most dangerous Zombie types which are known as the plague zombies.
To destroy the Plague Hearts first you must locate it. you will never receive its location marked on the map which makes the work a bit more tedious. so first look for the Plague Zombies, these particular zombies look like they are covered in blood and have bright red glowing eyes.
You will find them roaming around most of the time but you need to look for a place where a bunch of these plagues zombies are present. when you see a group of them, search the area around as the Plague hearts is most likely nearby.
Once you locate the Plague heart you will now need to destroy it. you can kill the Heart with any weapon you want but not every method will guarantee a success or your survival.
If you try to do kill it with melee weapons then it’s going to take forever and once you starting attacking it. the Plague Zombies will start swarming you and it most likely you will die because of lack of resources and stamina.
You can try to kill the heart with ranged weapons as they do decent damage to it but in the majority of cases, Plague Hearts are located inside a closed building. so if you are unable to get the job done in time, you will die.
The best strategy to deal with Plague Heart is to draw all the Plague zombies in one particular area and blow them up with explosives and if you have managed to get yourself a car then just run over them again and again until all of them die.
Once all the number of zombies decreases get near the Plague Heart and kill with Molotov cocktails, Soda Can Bombs, Fuel Canisters, Pipe Bombs or with any ranged explosives you can get. the good thing about this bombs is that they can be crafted if you have the required resources.
The best bomb to deal with Plague Hearts is the C4 bombs but as it is pretty rare to find it. it is recommended to save them for emergency purposes.
