Destiny 2 – How To Destroy Val Ca’uor ships And Defeat Val Ca’uor

Publisher Activision and Developer Bungie have released a new DLC campaign for their game Destiny 2 Warmind and with it comes tons of new challenges, mission, bounties and of course the opportunity to unlock special weapons and items.

In the new DLC, players can take part in various new events like Raid Liar, Escalation Protocol and more. in one of the event, players need to destroy Val Ca’our Ships and then defeat Val Ca’uor. below you will find a guide on how to do it.

How To Destroy Val Ca’uor ships In Destiny 2 Warmind

Val Ca’uor Ships and Val Ca’uor are the new addition in the new Warmind DLC destroying the ships and defeating Val Ca’uor can be quite tricky and difficult.

To win against them you will need to coordinate perfectly with other Guardians or you will lose every time. there is a guide and some tips below which you can use to win easily.

On your way to fight against Val Ca’uor, you will reach the Celestial Observatory. once there head towards the orange pillar, then shoot the locks and enter the light. this will send you into an arena like area.

Now observe and memorize the three symbols on the floor in front of the doors and then stand on the white circle platforms soon they will turn orange, and you will receive an orb.

After receiving the Orb an orange elevator will appear which is traveling upward. one of the Guardian with the Superior Retainer buff on them has to go into space and read out the signs they see in front of them.

The rest of the Guardians need to stand on the plate with the symbol which was called out. after some time the doors will open. they Guardians need to keep standing on the symbol to keep it open otherwise it will get closed.

Now one of the Guardian needs to take the Orb and throw it into the hot air stream above the door to get the Greed buff. after that, they need to again throw the orb into the door with the symbol that they saw in the space.

Finally, the Guardians need to stand on the white platforms to activate the elevator and let the Guardian with the Superior Retainer buff hold the orb. then boost its power with the Greed buff, take it into space and throw it at the ship to destroy them.

You will need to destroy three ships by using this method.

How To Defeat Val Ca’uor In Destiny 2 Warmind

Once you have destroyed the three ships Val Ca’our will come out and now you will have to fight him. you can see him standing on an orange elevator, shooting you by standing behind a shield which cannot be pierced with any weapons.

You will need to destroy the shield. first, wait for him to performs an AOE attack which will affect everyone around but you can remove the debuff by using the Greed Orb. then take the pods which arrive on the white platforms.

Now the Guardian with the Superior Retainer buff needs to go into space and read out the signs and after that throw the two orbs towards the door.

Once you do the above steps, you need to again send the Guardian with the Superior Retainer buff into space and take down the ship with the Greed Orb.

After destroying the ship Calus will appear behind Val Ca’our. once again you need to get the Greed orb. now, wait for Calus hands to start shining this will be your clue on when to throw the orb toward him.

When Calus gets the orb he will use it to destroy the shield and now all you need to do is kill him using the Shield.
