Publisher Activision and Developer Bungie have released a new DLC campaign for their game Destiny 2 Warmind and with it comes tons of new challenges, mission, bounties and of course the opportunity to unlock special weapons and items.

In the new DLC, players can now get new items which will help them unlock new chests and other unlockables. one of the new weapons which players can get in the game is the Sleeper Simulant Exotic Linear Fusion Rifle. below you will find a guide on how to farm it quickly.

The sleeper simulant rifle is one of the many weapons players can farm in the game. it is an exotic linear fusion rifle which shoots a decent damage laser beam piercing enemies bodies but bounces when it hits a hard surface.

To get the weapon you will need to complete a series of quests. some are easy and some are a bit difficult. below you will find all of them and other details.

To get the Sleeper Simulant Rifle first complete the whole story campaign of the Warmind DLC. once you complete the story Ana Bray will start giving you quests which are located on the Mars. a quest called Data Recovery will be offered to you and this particular quest contains two missions, Legacy Code and A Piece of the Past

When you complete the two mission you will get the IKELOS HC V1.0.1. it is a legendary hand cannon and comes with Precision Frame perk and the Rampage trait. this weapon is the key to get the Sleeper Simulant.

With the IKELOS HC V1.0.1 in your inventory, you will now need to complete a series of quest.

Violent Intel – go to Hellas Basin and kill both Cabal and Hive. to kill Cabal you need to use precision shots but you won’t need precision shots for the hive. remember to equip the Ikelos weapon, you don’t need to use it.

Rasputin’s Culling – Defeat powerful enemies with yellow bars while having the Ikelos hand cannon equipped, you don’t need to use the Ikelos weapon to kill. you can do this quest anywhere you want.

Warmind’s Glory – Equip the Ikelos hand cannon and complete 5 heroic strikes. just like other quests you don’t need to use the Ikelos to kill.

Nodes and Protocols – make sure that you have the Ikelos weapon equipped then you need to complete three levels of the Escalation Protocol. you don’t need to reach level 3 of the event. you can just play the level 1 three times and it would still count. next, you need to open 15 sleeper nodes. each node contains 4 stem which means you would 60 Resonate Stems to fully unlock the 15 nodes. use the guide below to learn how to farm resonate stem fast.

Protocol “Perfected Form” – in the last step complete the Will of the Thousands. remember to equip the Ikelos weapon you don’t need to use it. This mission will require 360 Power. so if you don’t have the levels, get some levels quickly. once you complete the mission you will be rewarded the Sleeper Simulant.
