Developer and Publisher Jam City, Inc. have finally released their new game titled Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. it is an action adventure game where players enroll as a student to Hogwarts, learn the art of Magic and also reveal new hidden mysteries behind Hogwarts.

In Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, players will need a Magic Wand just like in the books and movies which means you also need to get a wand suiting your personality. so below you will find a guide to what magic want to select when Ollivander ask you.

Guide On What Wand To Select In Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery

A Magic wand is as many of you would know is a thin stick like object made of different material. this particular object helps wizard and witches channel their magic powers into a spell which is has been portrayed excellently in Harry Potter movies.

Now in the latest Harry Potter game, you get to experience what it’s like to become a Wizard or Witch and to become that you will need to get a Magic Wand which suits your personality. you will find below a list of wands which you can select at early stages of the game.

Being a new student in the world of magic, you will need to get a wand to begin your adventure. so the game will take you to Ollivander, the old man who owns a Magic Wand shop.

There he will take about different things and proceed to ask you about how you felt when your older brother was expelled from Hogwarts. after this you will get to make three Choices and choosing one of them would give you a wand.

I Felt Bad For Him – If you select this option Ollivander will give a comment about your sensitivity and then offer you a 12 inch Acacia wand with a unicorn hair core. the wand can be used by gifted but a sensible person.

I Was Angry – If you select this option Ollivander will give a comment about how you need to fight and then will offer you an 11.25-inch blackthorn wand with a unicorn hair core. the wand is meant to be used by a wizard who has warrior-like spirit.

I Was Determined – If you select this option Ollivander will talk about determination and then offer you an 11-inch inflexible hornbeam wand with a dragon string core. the wand is meant to be used by a wizard who is passionate and pure at heart.

The Removed Choice

This choice was present during the game’s soft launch beta. but has now been removed for unknown reason. you can still read about it below if you want to know more.

I wanted answers – this option would give the player a 12-inch maple wood wand with a unicorn hair core. in the beta stage, it would state that it has the same composition as your brother but in the new global launch Ollivander say that your brother’s wand was 10-inch Maple wood wand with dragon heartstring core.

Anyways choosing different Wand doesn’t seem to affect much of the gameplay expect you can different minor customization.
