Socktopus is one of the sea creatures which you need to find to complete the Best Seafood in Seatown quest and you will need not one but three of them. just like most of the seafood. these creatures spawn randomly on the map. but there are 2 ways you can get them.

Build Fresher Fish Market – the Fresher fish market is one of the places from which you can get the Socktopus and other sea-related foods. to build this market you will need a level 2 kingdom. once you build the market, place a citizen and wait to get your item.

To speed up things you should place a citizen at Fresher Fish Market facility and another one at the Freshest Fish Market, then let them gather the item. it may take around 20 to 30 minutes to get the Socktopus.

Locations For Socktopus – before you begin, remember the spawning of this sea creature is random but it is reported that you may have a high chance of finding them at Northwest from the gap near the cradle of light which is at the island of Cwsg-y-Draig and the second location is Southeast from the gap.

The mission is quite time-consuming and tedious but if you use the fresher fish you will eventually get three of them, once you collect the required number Socktopus return to Marina complete the mission.

For completing this side quest you will be rewarded a Sea Odyssey, 730G, and 1890 Exp.
