Far Cry 5 – Where And How To Get Dog, Lion And Bear As Companions
Developer and Publisher Ubisoft has released their new latest game titled Far Cry 5. it is an action-adventure first-person game and is the eleventh installment and the fifth main title in the Far Cry series.
In Far Cry 5, players can form allies with both human NPCs and Animal NPCs just like in Far Cry Primal. but before getting them as a companion you will need to unlock them, below you will find a guide on how to get Dog, Lion, And Bear.
Where And How To Get Dog, Lion And Bear As Companions In Far Cry 5
There are three types of animal you can unlock and tame in the game and just like human NPCs you can hire them by using the “Fang For Hire” and summon them whenever you want. so now let’s look at how you can unlock these beastly animals.
Boomer The Dog – to get the dog as a companion go to the Dutch’s Island and liberate it, once you liberate it you will notice a dog icon appear at the Rae-Rae’s Pumpkin Farm. go there and you get a quest titled “Man’s Best Friend”.
In this quest, you will kill the cultist and free Boomer from the cage and then you can use it as a companion. the dog can stealth kill, disarm enemies, collect ammo and can the best part it can scare the Bears.
Peaches The Mountain Lion – to get the mountain lion as a companion go to the Dutch’s Island and liberate it. then travel to Peach’s Taxidermy which is located towards at northwest of the map, in Faith’s territory.
There talk to Miss Maple and get the “Here Kitty, Kitty!” quest, now follow the marked location on the map and also remember to take treats from Miss Maple’s backyard you will need it to get the lion.
Once you arrive at the marked location kill all the cultist and then feed the treats and lead the lion back to Miss Maple safely and then you can hire Peaches whenever you want.
Cheeseburger The Bear – to get the Bear as a companion go to the Dutch’s Island and liberate it. then destroy the cult outpost called F.A.N.G center once you do it you will find Wade Fowler in the same area, talk to him and you get the “Right To Bear Arms” quest.
Before you begin the quest get some salmon by doing the fishing quest. then proceed to the marked location, kill all cultists and rescue the Bear and feed salmon to it. after this, you can use the Bear as your companion.
Cheeseburger is the tankiest animal in the game you can literally just release it in an enemy outpost and it will kill them all.
