Developer and Publisher Konami has released their new latest game titled Metal Gear Survive. it is an action-adventure survival game where players are placed in a post-apocalyptic world filled with zombies.

In the game players have to gather food and water to survive the onslaught of the zombies and getting those resources can sometimes be quite difficult but don’t worry below you will find the guide on how to get them easily.

How To Get Food And Clean Water In Metal Gear Survive

Food

Hunting – You can get food by hunting sheep, rats and other animals in the game. hunting down the animals not only gives valuable meat to reduce your hunger but several other resources which can be used for crafting.

Garden – You can create a garden in your base and plant different food resources like potatoes and corn it will give you a constant source of food but be beware it takes more than an hour to completely grow the plants.

Bug to create unlimited food – Towards the west of your base camp, you will find the tutorial sheep you can kill them and get the food. then return to base talk to Vergil, then save and quit. once you are on title screen reload the game again and return to tutorial sheep location and they will have respawned. these seem to be a bug so expect it to get patched.

Clean Water

Exploring – At the early stage of the game, you can collect the clean bottle of water by searching for it around the map.

Construct Canteen – once you reach level 7 you can construct a canteen to store a large amount of clean water and drink from it when necessary. careful to not fill the canteen with dirty water or else you will be drinking all of it to make space for the clean water.

Boil Water – At level 7 you can also upgrade the campfire to build hanging pot to boil the dirty water and get clean water.
