The story of the game continues one month after the ending of Cold Steel, Rean has escaped with the divine knight Valimar to the hometown of Ymir where Princess Alfin Reise Arnor is also present. but after reaching the place he finds out that the princess and Elise have been kidnapped by Noble Alliance.
The gameplay is similar to the original game with traditional JRPG components and turn-based battles.
