PlayerUnknown’s Battleground To Run At 30FPS On Xbox One X And Xbox One
Microsoft recently acquired the rights of PlayerUnknown’s Battleground from Developer PUBG corporation and Publisher Bluehole for the console version of the game and with the launch of Xbox One X Microsoft fans are sure hyped for it.
Many Xbox gamers are wondering what will be the performance of the game on the both Xbox One and One X.?
Recently while talking to Magazine gamesTM issue 194 Brendan Greene the director of PUBG gave a few details about the console version of the game. during the interview, Greene confirmed that the game will be running on 60Fps on Xbox One X and on 30Fps on Xbox One.
Definitely on Xbox One X, 60FPS. On Xbox One, we’re not sure. We may have to limit it at 30FPS, maybe, but the last time I saw it, it was running at about 30 to 40. We’re still constantly improving it so, you know, the aim is to get to 60. That’s why we’re doing Game Preview, because I think the great thing about console is it’s a locked hardware system, so we can do really specific tweaks that tune it for those systems.
The news of 60Fps on One X was expected by a majority of gamers and although the 30Fps on Xbox One was a bummer still it is better than nothing but now situation has changed and something unexpected happened.
Greene now has issued another statement where he makes it clear that the game will be running on 30FPS on all Xbox devices when it comes to Xbox Game Preview.
While I previously stated PUBG would run at higher FPS at XGP launch on 12/12, I want to clarify that PUBG will run at 30 FPS across all @Xbox One devices. We’re constantly refining the game & exploring options to increase FPS, but this early in dev, we’re unable to confirm more.

It certainly is unfortunate that even on One X the game is unable to achieve 60Fps but one thing to note is that its an early version of the PUBG on Game Preview and as Greene said the development team is constantly working on the game to find ways to increase the Fps so in future we might see more Fps for consoles.
PlayerUnknown’s Battleground is scheduled to release on 12 December 2017 on Xbox. for more information, you can visit the official website.
