Genetic Disaster, A Rouge Like Action Co-Op Game Coming To Steam

Developer and Publisher Team8 Studio has announced the release date of their game titled Genetic Disaster. it is an action Rogue-like game with RPG elements where players can choose from multiple characters and then survive the onslaught of waves of enemies.

The game has been up on steam early access since 31 October 2017 where the devs have been adding more details and improving the gameplay by taking feedback from the community. it was supposed to be in early access for 2 to 4 months but seems like the game development is over.

Genetic Disaster is a coop action game based around absurd guns, crazy characters and instant fun with procedurally generated levels for endless hours of accidental friendly fire in multiplayer!

So basically in the game players will pick any characters from a cute tiny kitten to a walking fish and try to run away from a crazy scientist inside a mansion full of enemies and traps.

One unique thing about the game is that the mansion itself will do anything to stop so it introduces a mechanic called cycle which can change the gameplay like if the cycle announces ice then the whole level will be bombarded with ice, if it has bounce then all attacks will bounce off wall, if it has friendly fire then beware cause your blind attacks can kill your teammates.

Players will be facing off 10 different levels with different challenges. each level is procedurally generated meaning each time you play a certain level it will come with different enemies and weapons drops.

The game also has RPG elements as you progress through the game you can upgrade your character’s ability like reload speed, life steal, generous ammo’s loot and more. it has 65 powerful weapons and you can select from 4 different characters each having special abilities.

It offers both solo mode and a multiplayer mode which supports up to 4 players in different game modes. more the number of players more will be the difficulty of the game.
