Onirism, Retro Styled Action Adventure Game Similar To Zelda And Metroid
Developer Crimson Tales a small studio of indie developer is currently working on their new upcoming game titled Onirism. it is third person action adventure game where players can shoot, jump and fight with weapons just like Zelda and Spyro.
In the game, players take control of a joyful little girl named Carol whose mind is full of vibrant imaginations. one night while sleeping a mysterious portal opens up in her room with bright lights coming from it. a scary figure appeared from it and kidnaps her blankie Bunbun.
Without any delay, she arms herself with an umbrella and a hairdryer and jumps into the portal. she arrives into a new world named Crearia, a universe which is created by her own amazing dreams and terrible nightmares. you can check out the gameplay video of the game below
The in-game environment takes inspiration from open world games like Legend Of Zelda and Spyro the dragon with bright bold colors and detailed objects. the gameplay is almost similar Zelda but reminds me more of Ratchet and Clank.
There are a total of eight worlds in the game which the players are free to explore. each world has its own theme and is filled with lots of quest and secrets to discover. the major part of the gameplay involves solving puzzles, lots of combats and crazy boss fights. you will find tons of hilarious melee and ranged weapons.
The game features a Metroidvania-style progression system where you can unlock new skills and upgrades which will allow you to access new area in every level. It also offers a single player mode and a multiplayer Co-op to double the fun with your friend.
