The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt On Xbox One X Runs At 60 FPS Without Any Update

No doubt Xbox One X is currently the most powerful console in the market and with better hardware than its rival PS4 Pro it is bound to give better performance and graphical quality.

Microsoft has already announced tons of game which are going to receive updates for the Xbox One X. this will optimize the game to deliver better FPS and higher resolution. but one interesting thing about games on One X is that the even with any updates some games are giving high FPS and better graphics.

One of those games is CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which has managed to reach 60FPS on the new console. you can check out the video below from YouTuber NX Gamer who runs the game on Xbox One and One X showing the differences.

But there is a catch to it this works for the only unpatched version of the game as after the patches the games gets frame-locked at 30FPS.

The game does not constantly run at 60FPS and at several points, it dips below 50FPS but still, it gives better performance without any patch which is pretty nice. but don’t worry much about the frame rate drops as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of those games which will be receiving official enhancement upgrades

The upgrades will add 4K resolution support and may receive more than 30FPS which is not clear yet but it will give you a steadier FPS for sure. apart from the 4K support, it will add other graphical updates like ambient occlusion, specular and light booms and more.

So if you own an Xbox One X keep an eye on the patches which will be coming sooner or later.
