Developer and Publisher Effimera Studio have announced their new upcoming game titled Sleeping Dawn. it is action adventure indie horror game where players take the role of some kids who find themselves awakened in a dark mysterious world.
The game is in first person mode and is set in a procedurally generated world populated by terrifying creatures which seem like a reminiscent of a nightmare and the only way to get out is to solve the mystery behind the unknown place.
You can check the description and trailer from steam below to get an idea about the game.
Join into this confusing procedural maze. Lose yourself… is the only way to get out. Sleeping Dawn is a survival horror cooperative game up to 4 players. Join your friends, cooperate with them, make quick choices and… RUN. What really matters is not falling asleep: it’s your last chance.
As mentioned above the game will be procedural generated meaning every single game will have different structures of the maze. the paths the secrets everything will get changed. one nice mechanics in this game is that you can mark the spots in the maze so that you don’t keep circling around again and again.
While exploring the maze you will encounter several enemies and you have to decide either to take risks and face them or be sneaky and stay low to avoid them.
The game offers single players mode for solo adventurers and a multiplayer option which supports up to 4 players Co-op mode. you can work with your friends and distribute objectives among the team and solve the puzzle to get out of the gloomy maze.
The concept of the game is interesting and seems like an advanced Co-op version of SlenderMan. the graphics seem to pretty good for a game developed by two people. the animation of creatures also looks pretty nice. if the devs manage to deliver a bug-free game with a proper marketing then it may perform well in the market.
Sleeping Dawn will be released on 17 November 2017 for PC. for more information you can visit the official website or the steam store page.
