Punch Planet is a Competitive Sci-Fi 2D fighter with a rich and immersive universe, spanning exotic planets, advanced cities, and alien races.
Developed by 3 longtime competitors in the fighting game community, Punch Planet is a fighting game with a solid foundation of competitive mechanics while also introducing a new depth of story, humor, and design.
The core of the game is obviously to be a fighting game but just like Tekken series, it comes with its own story mode where players play as Roy an undercover detective from the Luna PD who is framed for murder. now to clear his name he travels around Planet K-0 as known Punch Planet to bring down the real criminal by fighting different kinds of fighters from different races.
For the gameplay, it would include all the basic elements of a fighting game like heavy attack, light attack, guard, jump and more. but it also comes with its own mechanics like Time Canceling which lets players rewind time for up to 1 second. another mechanics is the Energy Attacks which let user execute powerful attacks with energy meter.
The early access version will come with 4 playable characters, competitive rank play, online versus and local versus, training mode but as the development progresses, the devs will add more characters, arcade mode, trials and challenges and story mode.
Punch Planet currently does not have a release date but it will be coming somewhere in November 2017 for PC. for more information you can visit the Official Website or the steam store page.
