Developer EA Dice and Publisher EA recently released the beta phase of the game for their upcoming game Star Wars Battlefront 2. it is the fourth main installment in the star war series and a sequel to the 2015 reboot Star Wars Battlefront 1.
The game will be released after few weeks and till now everyone who has played or seen the beta phase of the game may have noticed that it will be coming with a feature which majority of the gamers hate. yes, it is the microtransaction.
Apart from costing $59.99 players will be able to buy in-game currency which is known as Crystals. earlier Amazon posted a new listing which detailed the price and the use of the currency in the game which is basically to buy in-game loot crates and other items.
You can view the listing at Amazon but it is currently unavailable for purchase. the listing says it will release on 14 November 2017 which is 3 days before the official release date also the product will be non-returnable and non-refundable.
Below is the price which you would have to pay to buy crystals
- 500 Crystals – $5
- 1000 Crystals – $10
- 2100 Crystals – $20
- 4400 Crystals – $40
- 12000 Crystals – $100
Below you can check the image of the product which you will probably find in future when the game fully launches.
Many fans are not happy with the introduction of microtransaction as the game already cost a heavy $60 and now they have to pay more money to get crystals. but that’s not the major concern as many believe that it would make the game pay to win.
The Crystals will let players buy loot crates and these loot crates can grant a variety of items and gifts like weapons, ability Cards, cosmetics, emotes and victory poses. there is a way to get the crystals without spending any money but as always it is a slow process and you need to grind hours to get enough crystals to buy anything worthwhile.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is scheduled to release on 17 November 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. for more information you can visit the official website.
