Developer and Publisher Image & Form recently released their latest game titled SteamWorld Dig 2 on PC and will be soon coming to consoles. it will be the fourth installment in the SteamWorld series and a sequel to the 2013 Dig game.
It is a 2D action adventure platform game and just like the prequel, the story revolves around mining but this time instead of playing the good old Rusty players will take the role of Dorothy a steam-powered robot who appeared as an ally to Rusty in Dig 1.
But despite changing the protagonist the gameplay will remain the same just like Rusty, Dorothy can also use pickaxes to create new paths and collect undiscovered resources and orbs which can be sold for in-game currency and then use the money to upgrade the gears and equipment to fight enemies.
