Developer and Publisher Digital Dreams Entertainment LLC will be soon releasing its latest title Mutant Football League. it will be an unofficial successor to the 1993 Mutant League Football which was made by EA Sports for Sega Genesis and later in 2006 the game was relaunched for Sony PSP.

Michael Mendheim the Lead Designer of MLF decided to remake the game and started a Kickstarter campaign with a goal of $60,000. his vision resonated with many gamers and fans of the original game and the campaign ended with 3,137 backers with $138,092 twice the initial goal.

The game looks like a traditional football game but with different rules and bloody monsters who will crush, grind and break each other and will do anything to win the game. you can check out the 1:30-minute gameplay trailer which reveals some of the features.

There are a wide variety of characters and teams which the players can choose. there will be 18 teams of these monsters each having its own specialty and special moves. you can play as any team of Armored Bruiserbots, Criminal Aliens, Monstrous Orcs, Mutated Humans and Skeletal Deadheads.

Despite being based on a traditional game there is nothing traditional about it which makes it more fun and entertaining. you can bribe the referee, using shotguns blow opponents head, or just rev your chainsaw and run towards the touchdown. Even the football field will not be in your support there are currently 18 fields each offers different challenges like booby traps, toxic moats, fire pits, buzz saws and more.

The game has several modes which players can choose from like exhibition mode, practice mode, playoff and the best one it has its own full season where single players can grind for hours. it also offers two-player online multiplayer and a four-player local multiplayer option. so you can now play against your buddies in the gory match or just go online and crush some bones of other fellow gamers.
