NBA 2K18 Will Be Able To Run At 30FPS On Nintendo Switch

NBA 2K18

Developer Visual Concepts and Publisher 2K sports will be soon releasing its latest basketball game NBA 2K18. it will be the 19th game installment in the NBA 2K series and just like the previous games, it will focus on simulating the whole basketball game.

But what makes it different from its predecessor is that it will be the first NBA game to come on Nintendo Switch.

So now the question arises will the switch version be similar to the consoles and PC versions?

If you compare the content of switch with other platforms you will find almost no difference. despite having less powerful hardware than console and PC it will have all the features like MyLeague, MyCareer, Story mode and even the GM team management. unlike Fifa 18 switch version which lacks some major features like the story mode “The Journey”.

The only thing switch owners will be missing is the ability to create custom logos for their Pro-AM team which is quite a bummer but will not be a very big setback as the rest of content and features will be the same.

Now coming to the real deal what will be the FPS on Switch? the consoles and PC will be to run the game at 60 FPS which is expected but the switch version will be able to hit 30FPS. the gameplay and the animation look almost similar to consoles but still, a low FPS will always put it at a disadvantage.

You can check out the gameplay below it certainly does not look bad and the animation and graphics seem to be pretty smooth.

On the positive side switch, portability and the local multiplayer mode will certainly be huge. you can tag along with your friends and slam dunk anywhere.

NBA 2K18 is scheduled to release on 19 September 2017 for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Switch. for more information, you can visit the Official Website or the Steam Page.
