Destiny 2 HDR Feature Coming To PS4 After Release
Destiny 2 PS4 will be the next in line to receive HDR or the High Definition Range feature which will allow players to experience high-quality graphics with amazing gameplay.
What Does HDR Do In Games?
HDR support in the games expands the number of colour on the screen and also improves the contrast significantly. the bright part on the screen gets more clear and brighter and the dark part gets a better contrast.
Sometimes people confuse themselves with HDR and Resolution thinking they are the same. but they are not the same and difference between them is huge. for example, two games running side by side one has the HDR enabled in it and other just has a high resolution. the one with HDR will always look better even if it runs on a lower resolution because the contrast and colours make the screen look more natural.
Destiny 2 PC is currently running in closed beta and already offers HDR support and 4K resolution with uncapped Frame Per Seconds( FPS ).
David “Deej” Dague Bungie’s community manager announced during Gamescom that PC version will be receiving various support like SLI support for compatible GPUs, modifiable slider for the field of view and frame rate counter. apart from that Nvidia has also released a new game ready driver for the game.
Currently, we know that the PC and PS4 will be getting HDR support but whether it will come to Xbox One or Xbox One X is still not known. so in addition to the exclusive contents like the Retribution map, the Borealis exotic weapon, the city apex ship, and more PS4 now also get HDR so that definitely makes PS4 version better deals for gamers than the Xbox.
Destiny 2 will be releasing on PS4 and Xbox One on 6 September 2017 and on 24 October 2017 for PC. for more information you can visit the Official Website.
