Reason?

No specific reason was given on the site but it is most probably becomes of the hardware limitation of Switch. increasing the number of players on the screen at once will mostly compromise the performance and graphics so it good they are focusing on delivering the most optimized products.

The only downside of this restriction is that players on Switch will not be able to enjoy the 4 player tag matches which basically involves 8 players on screen.

But it will have the rest of the features like

  • All new Road to Glory mode
  • MyCareer
  • New grapple carry system
  • New weight detection
  • Brand-new rendering engine
  • Massive backstage area
  • Thousands of new animations and a massive backstage area
  • Create custom characters, arena and video
