Developer Yukes and Publisher 2K Sports will be soon coming up with the latest version of the popular professional wrestling sports WWE 2K18. the game will be the nineteenth installments in the series and will be the fifth series under 2K Sports.
Recently the publisher announced the game for Nintendo Switch which makes the game the first WWE game in last five years to come to a Nintendo Platform and the first WWE game to hit Switch. the last WWE game which came on a Nintendo platform was WWE 13 it was released on 30 October 2012 for Nintendo Wii.
The game will now be available for both PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. but the Switch version will be slightly different. according to the new update on the announcement page of 2K.com 2K18 will support only six characters at a time on the screen and PS4 and Xbox One will support eight players at a time.
Reason?
No specific reason was given on the site but it is most probably becomes of the hardware limitation of Switch. increasing the number of players on the screen at once will mostly compromise the performance and graphics so it good they are focusing on delivering the most optimized products.
The only downside of this restriction is that players on Switch will not be able to enjoy the 4 player tag matches which basically involves 8 players on screen.
But it will have the rest of the features like
- All new Road to Glory mode
- MyCareer
- New grapple carry system
- New weight detection
- Brand-new rendering engine
- Massive backstage area
- Thousands of new animations and a massive backstage area
- Create custom characters, arena and video
